1. The best times to visit Halong Bay
Halong Bay is in the Gulf of Tonkin, where the weather is marked by the four seasons. In the winter (November to March), it is very cold and in the summer (April to October), it gets really hot.
Halong is a tourist site that attracts a considerable number of foreign tourists. While summer (April to October) is an ideal travel season for Vietnamese travelers, winter is recommended for foreign tourists.
If you choose summer – Halong tourism season, the best time for your trip is still March to May and August to October. Avoid the months of June to July for the following reasons:
Weekends in the period from June to July are the times when the number of tourists remains the highest. As a result, the price of services increases.
In addition, the storms in the Gulf of Tonkin and Halong Bay often come in June and July, so if you want to visit at this time, you have to be careful. If not, you should leave earlier (March to May) or a little later (August to October).
